Cleaning up Cairo

Cairo is one of the world's most polluted cities. Thousands of people die every year because of air pollution and hundreds of thousands more become ill. This program investigates how people's lives have been affected by pollution. We talk to parents who have lost their children to asthma attacks and to people who say that dust from nearby cement factories is killing them. And we look at the health hazard caused by the mounds of uncollected rubbish that pollute some areas of the city.
