Blood on the Nile

Sudan’s Government is constructing a series of dams along the Nile to deal with Sudan’s acute shortage of power. But thousands of Nubian people are being uprooted from traditional homelands. Locals complain that this is happening without proper consultation. Last summer a demonstration against one of the dams ended in bloodshed.
